We primarily stock hulled cardamom, though we are happy to source pods as well. When cardamom is described as "hulled," it means that the outer pod or shell has been removed, leaving only the inner seeds. Cardamom pods encase several small, aromatic seeds which are the source of the spice's flavor. The process of hulling involves either cracking open the pods manually and extracting the seeds or using a machine to do so.
